Actually, did you even watch that vid?..

The scientists you’re referring to are not claiming the universe LITERALLY came from nothing. They are speaking from a perspective of “nothing” meaning nothing supernatural.

Do you really believe that most or even many atheists literally think the universe “came from nothing”? That doesn’t even make sense. We acknowledge that the universe has an origin, but rather than simplifying it with “god”, we man up and admit that we currently don’t know the origin.

You’ll Like the Matrix if you Know What’s Good For You

By now we’ve all seen it. The trailer was hype, and it was watched millions of times in the first 24 hours. A NEW MATRIX FILM! Larry Wachowski (Calling himself “Lana” now, because of his amazing new wig of unnatural colors) was writing/directing this new movie and the world could not be more excited to see it. Not only were we going back to the Matrix, but with a Keanu Reeves who had been trained in guns and kung fu for not one, but THREE successful John Wick movies. The man is a combat legend now. This could be the GREATEST MATRIX MOVIE OF THEM ALL!!!

And then… we saw it.

STOP! Don’t waste 2 hours on this movie!

OK, I’ll just say what everyone is already thinking. Matrix 4 a hideous dumper fire that makes us long for the days of Adam Sandler films. It’s the Star Wars Holiday Special of the Matrix Universe. It’s like tween fan fic writers who hated the first movie were forced to watch it six times a day and then write about how they felt. It was an amazing master class on how NOT to make a movie.

Evolution’s Software Problem

Have you ever plugged in a WebCam and found that your computer didn’t know what to do with it? The WebCam was structurally sound but there was no software that could read it and show you an image. There you are with a device that has a perfectly good lens, a method of catching the light and turning it into an electrical signal, and the cable to send it to the computer. But the computer says, “What camera?”

Let me tell you from experience. At that point, you get to stare blankly at your monitor and come to grips with the fact that there is nothing you can do. If there isn’t already software on that computer that can read the information from the camera, there’s nothing you can do to teach your computer how to do the job. You’re not going to sweet talk your PC into popping up a window with an image of you captured from the web cam. You got nothing.

Welcome back to Feedback Friday! Arkenatan (Aka: Ark) is a FREQUENT commenter on quite a few Christian blogs. I had seen him making LOTS of comments other blogs. Ark’s modus operandi is pretty simple, as you will see. What remains a TOTAL mystery, even though I have tried to get him to explain it to me on several occasions, if WHY HE BOTHERS. He is an atheist/evolutionist who spends a LOT of time in the comments of Christian and Creationist bloggers. A LOT of time. But he NEVER makes reasonable arguments or presents evidence for his position or against your own. I can’t imagine what he thinks he’s accomplishing, or how it could be enjoyable for him. None the less, this seems to be his only hobby.

Soul is a Good Movie Ruined from the Outside

I wrote about why Pixar’s Soul is actually a horrible depiction of a black American man who gets killed before the movie is halfway done, and then isn’t a black man for almost ALL of the rest of the film. I explained how, not only is the lead character, Joe, a poor depiction of SEVERAL unflattering stereotypes of black men in America, but then when his body is taken over by a white woman, everything in his life starts to go BETTER. But with all of my criticisms (which I stand by) I do want to take the time to tell you that, if you have Disney+, you should give it a watch.

I Don’t Understand Calvinism (Yes I do)

My feed brought up a link to a video where in James White (Calvinist) and Doug Wilson (Calvinist) debate each other about Child Communion (I don’t care). I was the first person in the comment’s section, and so I put on the Snark Locks Key and typed the following:

Calvinist Vs Calvinist! Each presenting the position they were determined to hold and praying that God determines the other to change his mind because we don’t have the free will to be persuaded and choose to believe!

As you can imagine, the comments under my comment have been lively. Some non-Calvinists got the gist right away. Weirdly, some Calvinists have not been as accepting of my brilliant summation.

Pizza Robots are Taking Over the World!

When Trump was “voted” out of office because of low gas prices and his historically high employment rates, especially among black, Hispanic and female workers… oops! I meant, because of his mean Tweets (some of which- according to a special report by CNN which I am NOT making up- even contained MISSPELLINGS) one of the things the Democratic left was DEMANDING was a higher minimum wage. A “Living Wage.”

People like millionaire Bernie “Mittens” Sanders was demanding that the toilet scrubber at McDonalds make AT LEAST $15 an hour. THIS, they insisted, is a BASIC HUMAN RIGHT! Along with healthcare, Wi-Fi, and the password to someone’s Netflix account. EVERYONE, they insisted, deserves to make a LIVING WAGE!

Pixar’s Soul has no Heart (and it’s racist)

Disney/Pixar’s Soul was paraded in ads as the FIRST Disney/Pixar movie with a black lead character! An actual African American person on screen, voiced by an actual African American person behind the scenes! And many of us said to ourselves, “Wait… what happened to Frozone from Disney/Pixar’s Incredibles and Incredibles 2?”

“Honey? Where is my public recognition?”

Do you see that Barack Obama? That’s what it’s going to be like when America gets a president with TWO black parents. You will be the presidential Frozone. But I digress.
